The tape begins with the playing of the United States national anthem and the audience singing along. Following that, beginning at 2 minutes, the overture to "Coriolanus," Opus 62 is performed by the orchestra under the direction of Zoltan Rozsnyai, ending at about 10 minutes. Next is the "Piano Concerto No. 5 in E Flat Major," Opus 73 ("Emperor"), with Jakob Gimpel as pianist, from about 13 minutes to the end. This tape ends at the intermission, with the second part of the program at SD SYMPH-30. Although the tape ends at 55 minutes, a high-pitched noise continues until the end of the sound file.
