The tape begins with a metallic tone that repeats or is continuous along with hums and squawks, often louder than the music, until around minute 12. The start of the program is Bach's "Suite No. 3 in D Major," running until minute 21. There are some spots that seem to indicate sticking, and the volume fluctuates, with some very low passages. This concert features The Modern Jazz Quartet as soloists, with Zoltan Rozsnyai conducting. The next piece is Zador's "Aria and Allegro for Strings and Orchestra," from 21 minutes to 31 minutes. Lewis's "Alexander's Fugue" is next, from 31 minutes to 36 minutes. After Schuller's "Concertino for Jazz Quartet and Orchestra" (36 to 56), there is an encore of the Bach "Air" from the "Suite No. 3" performed earlier (56 to 1 hour, one minute). The last piece is Ravel's "Bolero," from 1 hour and 2 minutes until the end.
