Beethoven's "Egmont" overture begins immediately on the tape as the first piece on the program, lasting until 9 minutes. The conductor is Zoltan Rozsnyai, and the pianist for the next piece, Beethoven's "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major," Opus 58, is Peter Frankl, beginning very quietly at 9 minutes and ending at 45 minutes. After an intermission not represented on the tape, the last piece on the program begins at 46 minutes, Brahms' "Symphony No. 2 in D Major," Opus 73, playing until the end.
