This reel follows the start of the parade from the line up in the staging area through time to move out as both floats and marchers with signs, animals, etc., follow the car of the parade marshals. Some individual faces and signs are highlighted, such as the anti-Anita-Bryant sign, "No More Miamis." These parade participants would have met at India and F Streets, an intersection that no longer exists in 2017. This is film reformatted by the The California Audiovisual Preservation Project.
