An unidentified volunteer holds up a vertical flag with the Pride theme for 1990 as marchers wait in the staging area. The theme was "Look to the Future, A New Decade of Lesbian & Gay Pride." Behind the person with the flag, another volunteer carries a load to the trunk of the parade car for the Lesbian and Gay Archives of San Diego (predecessor to the Lambda Archives).
