The unidentified person sitting at the door of the Archives event tent wears a T-shirt with the Archives name and holds a donation jar with pink triangles and a suggested contribution of 25 cents. In his other hand he holds a tally counter. The Archives became the Lesbian and Gay Historical Society of San Diego, then the Lambda Archives of San Diego in 2003. This was at the annual Pride festival.
