Merryman and an unidentified man stand looking at a chair at an outdoor stage, probably the summer Pops stage. Handwritten on the back of the print: "Det Merryman - Pops Chair from home fed 84." Merryman served as the chairman of the Board of Directors of the San Diego Symphony Orchestra from 1984 to 1986 and as the San Diego Pops president from 1982 to 1984.
