Unidentified people hold signs and march in a line in the tradition of protests rather than parades. The issue this year was Proposition 6, sponsored by California State Senator John Briggs, which would have barred gays and lesbians from teaching and banned anything in the curriculum that portrayed homosexuality in a favorable light. This print is bleached from sun exposure, with partial deterioration of the top and bottom.
