Vezina works squats with a sign on the floor. The sign reads: "Yours in the Struggle...The Center...Jess Jessop San Diego July 19, 1939-February 20, 1990." This might be part of a memorial for Jessop, who founded the Lesbian and Gay Archives of San Diego that became the Lambda Archives. Vezina later founded Trans Elders of San Diego and worked with the Trans Oral History Project.
