The caption below is handwritten on the album paper next to the photograph in the middle of page 10 of the album at JOBS-ALBUM. The numbers in the text refer to numbers in ink on the images of the relevant people in the photograph. "The Staff" "No 1 Howard French Book-keeper 2 Smythe Storekeeper 3 R. B. Stanton Manager 5 Prof Duff who 'Took himself' in this picture 4 Ben- the road contractor not of the 'Staff' accidentally present 6 T. A. Jobs Secretary 7 Anna Stanton and her doll- The faint dumps near top of her [hat? ,] back of T.A.J. are on the 'Little B[?] lode- located by him and R.B.S." "Took himself" means that Duff was the photographer of this image. Smythe's last name is not known.
