The caption "Flint Mining Camp - Taken from hills on west side of the gulch, above the salon and R.B.S's [Robert Brewster Stanton's] cottage" is handwritten on the back of the photograph. This cyanotype was found loose in the album displayed at JOBS-ALBUM, which is dated 1887. The Jobses were in Flint from 1884-1890.
