Next to the unidentified marcher holding the sign in the title, another marcher holds a sign that reads, "I support my lesbian mother-in-law." Two signs read "Vow to vote NO on the marriage ban," which refers to California Proposition 8 that passed later in the year, banning same-sex marriage in California.
