Carlos Silva waves to the crowd from a red convertible in the Pride parade. A sign on the side of the car reads, "Carlos Silva Candidate for Emperor XXVIII." Others are unidentified. Silva was elected Emperor XXVIII of The Imperial Court De San Diego in 1999. Appointed Crown Prince for Life in 1996, Silva's biography on the Internet identifies Silva as "aka Selena Diamond."
