Rainbow-colored flags hang outside The Flame bar on Park Boulevard. Dubbed a "gay hotspot" by the San Diego Eater in an October 12, 2015 article about its sale, the nightclub had been in existence since "the mid-80s." As of April 2016 the sign had not been removed.
