Post, Lauren C., Editor
Post states that "about 1,900 Aztecs are now in the armed forces: nearly 700 have been commissioned: and 26 have been decorated," in contrast with the enrollment of 2,077 students at San Diego State in 1940). Among the usual letters there are also thanks to donors. Post writes "we could turn out a cheaper News Letter, but I feel that you want one that you can point to with pride. In the meantime, I'll try to turn out one that meets with your approval." In lieu of a directory, this is the first edition to publish a list of updates with partial addresses, titled "Who-What-Where."
