Dempsey sends a postcard with a line drawing of a biplane on it to Lauren Post for a change of address. He "was in the Infantry in Ft. Bragg for 18 months," more recently "tied up with cadets since Last September." Now at basic training, he is happy to receive the Aztec News Letter. He met Charley Smith at Santa Ana.
