Daw's stationery nearly surrounds his writing with printing and reproductions of photographs of the Amarillo Army Air Field taken by Army Air Forces Technical Training Command. He has been moved to Fort Hays State College (Daw calls it "Kansas State College") with the 83rd Cadet Training Division and is "very well satisfied with everything" at this "oasis on the great plains."
