Cowan, George W.
Cowan has been "stationed aboard a Merchant Marine training ship" at San Francisco and expects to sail as Third Officer in "a very few months." He encloses some issues of "The Binnacle" from the training academy, which he says is similar to the Aztec News Letter. Cowan offers to send recruiting information for the Maritime Service. A 1942 graduate of San Diego State College, he is a member of the Phi Lambda Xi fraternity.
