Cobb describes the countrywide, weather, and the college he is attending in the V-12 Program. There are three others from San Diego State College there: Fred Rapp (Eta Omega Delta fraternity), Dave Dakin, and Danny Webster "(Billy's brother)." None of them receives the Aztec News Letter, but all would like to get it. He asks how the finances are for the newsletter and sends addresses.
