Chavis, Thomas N.
The Aztec News Letter still arrives regularly in the South Pacific. Chavis writes that one "runs across someone from [San Diego] State [College] or San Diego" "at almost any base in the Pacific. Someone just returned "from a submarine voyage up the Japanese coast" came into the office. Smedley Warfield and Neil Boothby are mentioned. Chavis is sorry to hear that Ernie McAnulty was wounded and hopes he will be back in the air soon.
