Chandler, John A.
In training, Chandler averages "about two or three hikes a week," "ten or twelve miles in a morning," or "all day" with raisins and rice for lunch. But they also have "three day sixty mile hikes." The censor has cut out a sentence. Chandler mentions Joe Matthews and Lloyd Ernst from San Diego High School, and Jim MacPherson and Charles Ables from San Diego State College. Chandler is a "walkie-talkie" man.
