Chamberlain, Gordon Clark
Chamberlain now writes on stationery with Army wings from Maxton, having moved from Louisville, Kentucky to Alliance, Nebraska, where he joined the 436th troop carrier group. He saw his brother-in-law John McCully, "who flies a B-25." He sends news of Willard Wallace and signs off as a flight officer. Chamberlain was killed in action in Germany on March 24, 1945.
