Chandler, John A.
Ables, Charles
There are two cartoons, one on the first page of a tiny island with beautiful women in bikinis but a lot of Japanese men with big guns hidden in bamboo. Chandler says he has been sleeping "in a foxhole, eating 'C' rations for fifteen consecutive days": all in all he would like "to quote our old friend" General Sherman (who famously said "War is hell"). On the back Chuck Ables draws a second cartoon of a Japanese prisoner and writes his own message.
