Carroll, Bernard G., Jr.
"Familiar faces" are good to see in North Africa, where otherwise all Carroll sees are "strange Frenchmen and Arabs." One familiar face belonged to Garry Meeker, another to Jim McColl, whom he also saw in Algiers. He will send a photograph as soon as he can but now encloses a poem about weather (not preserved with this letter). He sends congratulations and regards to Wos Caldwell.
