Carroll, Bernard G., Jr.
Carroll talked with Gerry Meecker in Algiers while stationed in North Africa. He was in Sicily, then North Africa, then Italy, and then back in North Africa, where there are "all types of forces," with "the largest contingent" being the Royal Air Force (British). He says the "airborne outfit here" is a "swell bunch of guys."
