Carr, John Holden
Carr's unit "saw a little action--have had a rest--and are now getting things ship shape again." He says that the difference between Japanese and American soldiers is that Americans are allowed some initiative, whereas the Japanese soldier "can not act on his own." Carr saw Royden Stork in June and would like to see him again.
