Carr, Charles Alfred
Carr quotes "the Chief Censor": "You can say that you are on a new campaign in the S. W. Pacific Area, and that you are safe and well," from which his readers should be able to figure out where he is. "There is no feeling quite comparable to spotting a flock of planes, and then recognizing them as your own." He mourns Burdette Binkley, writing, "that is the price we are paying for someone else's mistakes."
