Byrne, Charles T.
Byrne read the portion of Burdette Binkley's last letter that was published in number 14 of the Aztec News Letter and was moved by it. It seems to him "that the Omega Xi's are collecting more than their proportionate share of gold stars" (for death in service). He agrees that the San Diego newspapers "miss far too many stories" about soldiers from the State College, but points out that the home addresses of many are elsewhere.
