Brown, LaVerne W., Jr.
Since he is "hobbling around," his doctor told Brown he could "throw my crutches away. After cracking his right fibula, he then ran "cross country on it for a week," making it worse, so he is still in the hospital. He heard from Jack Hubbard and his sister and brother-in-law Dan and Lottie Magnusson. Calling his nurse a "battle-ax" who will "get on" him otherwise, he says he had better start studying.
