Benson, Frederick A.
Benson is grateful for information on college credit for military service. He saw Jane Russell's movie "The Outlaw" and the play "Junior Miss." In 1941 his group of 86 was sent from Pearl Harbor to the USS Lexington, sunk in May 1942; to Fiji for three months, to New Zealand for four days (5 got engaged), then to the United States, where 9 married while on leave. Benson wonders how the 251st Coast Artillery Regiment will react upon return.
