Alverson, Franklin G.
Alverson would appreciate Al Robbins's address or if not that then one for Val Jean Robbins. Writing on stationery from the United Service Organizations (USO), A describes how his unit has been learning about finding mines and "booby traps," especially booby-trapped mines. It took them four hours to "pick up" 75 mines. He sends $2 and signs off "Frank "Cannonball" Alverson. "To Ans[wer]" is written in red at the top along with the pencilled "$2."
