Wirt, Benjamin Wayne
Wirt writes from "somewhere in New Guinea" that, although he hasn't been to San Diego State College since 1937, the Aztec News Letter makes it like "just yesterday." He asks after Paul Young (State 1934, 1935), a friend of his and his brother Glen's. He remarks on how "terse" Jake Duich's letter was compared to the "bedlam" he caused on campus. He would prefer even mutton to corned beef at this point.
