Wight sends addresses for Stanley Palmer and his pregnant wife Wanda. Wight has not seen his 7-week-old daughter Carol Ann, staying with mother Dorothy L. Root (San Diego State College). His commanding officer is General Chennault's son. An airplane accident left him with a "broken left leg and a fractured skull," to start sick leave soon and see his wife and daughter, after that back to Elmendorf Field at Anchorage, Alaska.
