Bob Ravey, Bill Looney, and Howard Holz graduated from pre-flight school at the same time as Walton, but they went to other flight schools. He says the only thing wrong with the Los Alamitos station is a shortage of airplanes and instructors. After a week at the base he has "yet to have my first hop."
