Wallace, James Willard
Having moved from the Clovis Hotel Wallace is now at the Vorenberg Hotel, so he uses an idle typewriter ("contraption"), and he sends an address for Tom Hart and Lionel Chase. They are to start night flying, after which he hopes to transfer to 29 Palms, California with a 10-day furlough so he can return to San Diego. He types out the "Song of the Glider Pilots" written to the tune of "Irish Washer Woman" by W. G. Colter.
