Verdusco, Frank R.
Verdusco is in the China-India-Burma (CBI) theater. (Supply B-17s went from India to China, flying over "the hump" of the Himalayas.) It is so hot they sleep under fans at midday, flying nights and mornings. He longs to be back in San Diego studying music. News of Fred Chino and Louis DeMangaus would be welcome. He signs off at tea time. Verdusco was killed in action during the war.
