Thompson, Boyd Ermil
Thompson attended San Diego State College from 1926 to 1928 and is in the same battalion with other alumni: Wallie McAnulty, Wayne McGehee, and Herbert Phillips. Friends and Phi Lambda Xi fraternity brothers from State may remember him as Ermil, "but the Army insists that I use my first name." Thompson appreciates the Aztec Service Men's News Letter while "so many thousand miles from home."
