Swanson writes "that the Service Letter gives a more personal touch among the Aztecs [San Diego State College] than that enjoyed among the alumni of any of the Ivy Leaguers." This letter is "personal" and he does not want more than a "sentence or two" repeated, but he does give news of O. R. Wahrenbrock and John Snoddy. The newsletter" is like a hundred letters from close friends at home--and elsewhere."
