Shaw, Edward P., Jr.
Shaw says that he was first assigned to Admiral Noye's staff in Washington, District of Columbia. Then he was transferred to mine warfare school, a minesweeper, then to shore where he awaits further assignment. Some others from San Diego State College he saw are: Cotton Gilliland, Bill Patterson, and Art Savage. He hears from or about Gene Erdman, Andy Echle, and Clarence Osborn.
