Rabinowitz, Seymour
Rabinowitz notes a blizzard outside as he writes, now in the first Midshipman's class at Notre Dame University. Despite inexperienced instructors and lack of equipment and clothing, their classes proceed along with drills and "athletics." They study navigation, seamanship, ordnance, and damage control, and watch football games. He sends regards to William Wright, A. G. Peterson, Roy Cameron and Harry Jordan.
