Price, Byron
A mimeographed letter from the Office of Censorship is addressed "To the Editor." It accompanies press releases stating that the names of ships and the units of soldiers are military secrets that must not be revealed. The signature is of the director, and the letter and press releases have file numbers. The pound sign (#) at the bottoms of the press releases are common proofreader's marks indicating "The End."
