Newsom, Bertine L.
Mrs. Newsom writes that she saw a story in the San Diego Union newspaper that Lauren Post was looking for information about people from San Diego State College now in the armed forces. Her son Robert is in the Marine Corps but went missing when his station at Manila Bay "capitulated." She thinks he may be a prisoner of war but has no news. She will send an address if she gets one but says "it may be months before I hear any-thing."
