McGraw, Clarence Thomas
McGraw writes "a couple of lines" in pencil to say he has been transferred to the Amphibious Corps, wearing a Marine uniform and moving "as part of the Marines." He sends his new address in the Second Medical Battalion, Second Marine Division. This group sailed out of San Diego bound for Guadalcanal in late June of 1942 to join up with the First Marine Division.
