Leaf, William R.
Typing on a Victory Mail form, Leaf says he is lucky to have Joe Rodney, also from San Diego State College, as his Battery Commander ("BC") and that Archie Johnston has recently joined. His complaint to "friends I left behind" is that they don't write. He was happy to read about Dick Bate and others who are back in the United States as he wishes he were. Victory mail was microfilmed and shipped, then developed and delivered.
William Leaf; Bill Leaf; Dick Bate; United States National Guard; 251st Coast Artillery Regiment (Anti-Aircraft); Archie Johnston; Archie B. Johnston; Johnny Johnston
