Kruse, William R., Jr.
According to rumor, Kruse and his fellow students are bound for amphibious school, torpedo-boat school, or minecraft. He applied for torpedo-boat school and hopes for his commission December 2. It was "too bad that [Tom Cozens] happened to be in that particular spot" and therefore died. He mentions Duane Wilson and Orville Wahrenbrock, and wishes the new football coach "a successful season."
