Kruse, William R., Jr.
Kruse is at the Columbia University Midshipman's School after "indoctrination at Notre Dame" University. His first liberty was the past weekend, when he went to New York and saw the city from the RCA Building, an early skyscraper. School back home is starting without him, which seems strange, but he is glad there is a football team. He sends regards to "everyone at State," and a special "hello" to Clarence and Andy Randeques.
