Private Hubbard is with the Medical Detachment, glad to have "an Alma Mater that is so thoughtful of it's[sic] students." Although there are no others from San Diego State College at his post, others read his copies of the newsletter. He is "very sorry" to hear of the loss of lives of those from the college.
