First Lieutenant Edwards sends news of Dennis Chavis and Gilbert Starr and himself. He received his commission in the Marine Air Corps at Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania, moving to Little Rock to train recruits of the 103rd Battalion. He may be sent overseas, but he and his wife Evelyn Lory Edwards hope to stay in Little Rock for awhile.
