DeLong, Charles Perry
Lieutenant DeLong writes on United States Marines stationery that he couldn't keep his mind on his work after reading the student newspaper and soldiers' newsletter. His studies at Quantico have been rigorous, but his unit will leave soon to test their skills. They won't know the destination until the day before, but "they haven't spent this time teaching us to speak Japanese!"
