Cornett, William F.
Ensign Cornett and a group of recruits were in Lauren Post's Geography 1A class: Claude O. Roberts, Carson Hetler, and Leonard D. Peterson, Jr., also stationed at Jacksonville, and Leslie J. Carr in Corpus Christi. As an instructor he saw Bob Lewis, Art O'Keefe, Jim Kinsella, and Tom Idle. Cornett writes because he saw a San Diego Union article calling for information.
